Some Additional Biographical Material


LAURENT GIROUX was last seen touring the U.S. and Canada as the decadent, depraved and campy King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar starring Ted Neeley. He has also appeared on Broadway with New York Shakespeare Festival in Two Gentlemen of Verona and as Neville in The Mystery of Edwin Drood; and in Zorba, directed by Joel Grey (also in the national tour). For director Bob Fosse he has appeared in Dancin', Chicago and Pippin (also in the national tour). He has appeared in pre-Broadway productions of Annie 2, Rags and Cristobal Colon and off-Broadway in Paris was Yesterday. He can be seen in the film All That Jazz. Regional theatre credits include The Threepenny Opera at Williamstown Theatre Festival, Evita at Birmingham and Paper Mill Playhouses, Annie 2 at Goodspeed Opera House and The "No-Frills" Revue at Westport Playhouse. Mr. Giroux has been featured in Marvin Hamlisch's concert tour. He also appeared as "The Sleeping Man" in Knapp/Alper's The Audition.
